Bio

Rod Taylor is the National Leader of the Christian Heritage Party of Canada. Rod worked for 25 years in the lumber industry in B.C. He also worked 6 years for Canadian National Railways in Alberta. He is a long-time director on the board of the Smithers Pro Life Society. Rod has been active in both provincial and federal politics. He was elected National Leader of CHP Canada in 2014. Provincially, he helped form CHP-BC and served as its Interim Leader from 2013-2020. Rod writes weekly commentary for CHP, and in 2018, authored a book entitled The Substance of Things Hoped For. He also hosts a weekly podcast, CHP Talks.
